Workshops
I offer two methods of stained-glass making, one using lead (level one) and the other copper foiling (level two). I recommend that for beginners, you need to understand how to effectively cut glass, which you will learn through the lead method. Cutting glass in the copper foiling process requires precise cuts and the process is quite different compared to lead work. Upon completion of the level one course, I can offer a 10% discount to attend the level two course.
I will supply all the materials and tools for you to complete the work, but please ware old clothes, closed toed shoes and an apron. I can supply specialist glass cutting gloves and protective glasses should you require them. Please note: Due to the usage of lead and solder, I recommend the pregnant women should not attend the courses. I provide free tea and coffee throughout the day, as well as offering free and easy access parking.
I have a maximum limit of four people per class, to ensure individual attention. Over runs are acceptable, but please ask me for help.

My popular courses cost £115 per day and can run 7 days a week (including Saturday and Sunday), including bank holidays! Upon booking I require a £25 deposit, which is non-returnable.

Cancellations

For cancellations made 4 weeks in advance, I offer a full refund, or one free date change. For cancellations made 3 weeks in advance, I can offer a 75% refund. Two weeks in advance, 50% refund. Less than two weeks I am unable to offer a refund or course date change. If a date change has been requested, I cannot offer a refund on a subsequent cancellation.

Level One
Suitable for beginners. In the one-day workshop, you will learn how to cut stained-glass to a template that I will provide. Cut and apply lead and use solder. Classes start at 10am and run till 5pm, with a lunch break, which is between 1 and 2pm. However, you can work through the lunch break should you wish.
Level Two
In this one-day workshop, you will learn how to cut glass precisely to a template provided, apply copper foil and apply solder.
